Fishy Smell

An extremely common electrical fault can be diagnosed with a sudden ‘fishy’ smell from wall sockets or switches. Usually, this is caused when the connection to the circuit of an electrical device is damaged, this makes the electricity ‘jump’ to complete the circuit, causing a fire if the electricity hits anything else in its path. This is an extremely dangerous situation, you will need to unplug the device and call in a professional to fix.

Flickering Lights

Flickering lights can be caused by many factors. You can experience flickering, lights that do not turn off/on, sometime a ‘buzzing’ may be heard. It could be something as simple as the wrong wattage light bulb being used, or it could indicate a wiring fault or loose wire.
